I visited Pumpstock this year for the first time. I saw a Twitter post mentioning a group called Stella, and after checking out their website....I had to check them out! They put on great show. I can't wait to see them again.

As a first time visitor to Pumpstock, I wasn't sure what to expect. The event listing didn't mention any cost to get in to event, so I was a bit surprised that there was a $10 cover charge. I will plan ahead for next year and make sure I have enough cash for cover and for the delicious food vendors!

2015 Sikh Day Parade in Lansing

It's not everyday that you can look outside and see such a beautiful display of colors walking by your house. These photos are from the Annual Sikh Day Parade in Lansing Saturday, April 25, 2015.

The Annual Sikh Day Parade is held in Lansing Michigan, on the occasion of Vaisakhi (Birthday of Khalsa).

The Gurdwara Sangat holds Annual Sikh Day Parade every year on the auspicious occasion of Vaisakhi (Birthday of Khalsa).

New direction, new website!

I designed my new website to draw attention to my graphic design & marketing skills, while showcasing some of my photography work.

In the past year, my work has shifted more from wedding & event photography to graphic design & marketing. Since the end of Greater Lansing Woman Magazine, I no longer have the opportunity to photograph social events & fundraisers like I used to. I photograph corporate events and annual meetings for my clients, but I am no longer "around town" shooting events for the social pages.

 I've been working in the marketing field since 2011, and really began to focus on graphic design in 2013. My new website design reflects the shift in my business focus, and my clean design style!
