NACW Signature Event "Mad Hatter Cocktail Party" Food

Wonderland Candy Buffet

 The National Association of Career Women hosts an annual Signature Event as a fundraiser for the Harriett E. Pincumbe Scholarship Fund. This year's event was held at the Turner-Dodge house in Lansing, Michigan on June 10, 2015.

Mini colored mason jars with "Take Me" tags.

 The theme for the event was a "Mad Hatter Cocktail Party". Inspiration was drawn from Alice in Wonderland with references to the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts.

Brightly colored candy pieces.

 The Wonderland Candy Buffet included mini colored mason jars, and colored candy pieces from Michaels Arts & Crafts. DIY "Take Me" tags were attached to each jar.

Catering from Morton's Fine Catering, broccoli salad in mini mason jars.

Morton's Fine Catering provided the catering for the event. We went with tea party style finger foods,  including a variety of tea sandwiches, and broccoli salad in mini mason jars.

 The catering was complimented by playing cards, Alice in Wonderland prints, and vintage serving trays.

 The cake and cake pops were complimented by mini chocolate pot du crèmes and french macarons from Morton's Catering.
